Independent Licensed Clinician

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

  • Master in Behavioral Health field AND
  • Associate level/independent license with the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health.  
  • Prior experience working in a similar role, maintaining caseloads of individual, marital, group and family therapy

Primary Function: 

Responsible for maintaining a caseload of individual, marital, group and family therapy as indicated.  This positions participates in client staffing, develops service plans, and maintains client records, in accordance with the CFT/ART.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for conducting clinical intakes - a)  Emergency/Crisis evaluations and b)  Individual/Group/Family Therapy.
  • Serves as clinical liaison for assigned case loads within CFT process including collaboration with other internal/external resources.
  • Responsible for knowledge of eligibility status when providing or authorizing services.
  • Prepares and maintains well written clinical records accurately and thoroughly as required ethically and legally.
  • Utilizse treatment modalities for diagnostically diverse caseloads with ability to provide outcome oriented services with brief/managed care parameters..
  • Consistently meets productivity standards as assigned.
  • Submits all required documentation requests by payroll, personnel, and provides any funding agency reports on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, as required.
  • Provides clinical supervision in accordance with ADHS Licensure/Contracts as assigned.
  • Knowledgeable of and complies with all relevant agency policies, state and federal statutes and rules.
  • Performs rapid drug screen via urine specimen, as needed. *Must be properly trained on urine collection, as required by the Rapid Drug Screen Lab Test policy*

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Master in Behavioral Health field AND
  • Associate level/independent license with the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health.  
  • Must be proficient in all concepts, practices and procedures related to field/area of work. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to use a Personal Computer of telephone up to five (5) hours a day
  • Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling or crouching
  • Frequent standing or moving throughout facility
  • Light physical effort (infrequent lift/carry up to 25 pounds)
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
